In the past 20 years, the automotive industry has become more and more focused on nationally recognized credentials for the vendors they do business with - not only for reliability, but also for technical competence. For the customer, using a source that has achieved accreditation to ISO/IEC17025 means many things. Among these things are: maintaining highly trained personnel, striving to meet or exceed the customers' requirements, backing by the highest level of management to ensure the standards are maintained, striving for continuous improvement and problem prevention, and avoidance of any activity that would diminish confidence in a company's confidence, impartiality judgment and operational integrity.
